Hi I'm wilber a 4 year old, 42 pound goldendoodle base in Pelham Newyork and I'm on the look out for my forever family I'm a happy guy who loves belly rubs and being active I have been working hard on my leash skills and getting much better at not pulling especially in quieter neighborhoods.Busy areas can be a little more exciting for me, so I might need some extra guidance but I'm learning fast. I use to bark at strangers and loud noises but I'm getting calmer and more comfortable everyday. I'm also very chill among other dogs and cats. At home I follow my humans every where they go. I don't like to be left alone but I'm working on it. I have been doing well with short crate sessions when given a treat filled Kong to keep me busy. I'm smart and food motivated, so I pick up new commands pretty quickly. I might need some help with barking at new people and feeling more comfortable when left alone. But I'm a loving attentive dog who is eager to please. With a bit of patience and care I will be the perfect addition to your family.
